With ApexGear, the battery can be easily removed. That means you can toss your heated clothing into the washing machine without any worry of damage.

• Remove the battery
• Machine wash separately in cold water on a delicate cycle with a mild detergent
• Hang to dry
• Do not dry clean, iron or wring out the vest, which may damage the heating panels.

Storage

For the best results, keep your ApexGear heated clothing away from excessive heat or humidity. It should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated area, and away from direct sunlight. It is also recommended that you place it in a storage bag to protect it from dust. Finally, don’t store any heavy objects on top of your heated clothing to avoid crushing or deforming the garment and the components inside.

The battery

Letting the battery fully discharge can shorten its life. If you won’t be using it until fall, recharge it completely and then store it in a cool, dry place.
